Probabilistic Approach of Burr Type Prediction with the Drilling Burr Control Chart

Abstract 

A probabilistic model for prediction of drilling burrs and data updating procedure with the Drilling Burr Control Chart were developed. Probabilistic prediction provides a more feasible tool to control the burr formation in mass production, and the procedure of data upgrading shows how to use new data obtained in subsequent drilling process.
