Abstract

Abstract- Due to the enhance sensitivity at very low uncut chip thickness, AE is emerging as one of the leading sensing tools for monitoring precision machining processes. In this research, material directional change during diamond during of OFHC copper due to cold-working of material is monitored using acoustic emission sensor. The results show that AE has an excellent sensitivity and displays change in material characteristics during precision diamond turning of cold-worked OFHC copper
